New ADA-Accessible Dock Now Open - A Community Vision Realized!
When we learned of the vision that Jason Bristlin, a member of the Lakes Country Association of REALTORS® and Past Commander of the local DAV, had for an ADA-accessible dock in our community, we knew we had to get involved.
Partnering with the local DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and backing that vision with action, we applied for and received a grant from the National Association of REALTORS® to help bring this impactful project to life.

Today, the Lakes Country Association of REALTORS® is proud to announce the completion of the ADA-compliant dock located on the beautiful beach in Detroit Lakes - a space that’s now accessible to veterans, people with disabilities, and the entire community.

This is more than a dock—it’s a commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and service.
