Coda Detroit A boutique, ten-unit luxury condominium in the heart of Detroit’s historic Brush Park neighborhood.

Positioned at the corner of Alfred and John R, in Detroit’s historic Brush Park neighborhood, CODA is an innovative and newly constructed mixed-use offering, featuring a boutique ten-unit residential component, a two-level restaurant, and dedicated commercial office space. The name is derived from the coda, a musical notation mark that serves as a thematic crescendo, conclusion, or re-elaboration

of a musical, literary, or art piece. Fitting to its symbolic name, CODA reflects on the neighborhood’s prominent past, harnessing bold creativity, diversity, and innovation through Brush Park’s current revival. The luxury residences at CODA feature two private three-story townhomes designed with dynamic, spacious floor plans and eight ultra-modern condominium residences, located above and next to the historically preserved brick façade. Designed by Oombra Architects, from Philadelphia, CODA’s contemporary design has been intended to complement the restored original and historic façade— the first design of its kind in Detroit. We have some exciting news to share! On October 19, 2023, at the Chicago Architecture Center, .architects proudly announced that the CODA Detroit project has been recognized as one of the five winning entries in the prestigious 2023 Mass Timber Competition: Building to Net Zero Carbon, sponsored by the Softwood Lumber Board and USDA Forest Service.

This incredible achievement highlights the remarkable collaboration of the entire team, including Brush Park Properties, InDevelopment, JDH Engineering, , .co, and of course, US- Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices The Loft Warehouse!

We were thrilled to see that CODA was in the running for the 2023 Project Award! CODA’s contemporary design is destination architecture, the 1st of its kind in Detroit. Designed by OOMBRA Architects, from Philadelphia, CODA’s contemporary design is intended to become the new landmark of Brush Park. The glass and timber building, plus the new townhomes, are a strong counterpoint to the restored, historic façade. CODA marks the height of achievement in Detroit’s luxury residential market, offering a new level of refinement, and a diverse, expressive environment to call home.
