Recently married at the Shinola Hotel in June 2024, Jaime & Phil moved into our community from Chicago starting their new adventure in the heart of Detroit!

With their French Bulldogs, Vinny & Giuseppe, they’ve been exploring the downtown from the Dog Park in Capitol Park to morning coffee at Dessert Oasis. ☕🐾☕🐾

Jaime, a software engineer, and Phil, a medical student, are loving the vibrant community, incredible restaurants, and closer proximity to family.

Let’s kick off the year by celebrating their nuptials and life as proud Detroiters.

Originally from Upstate NY, Billy found his way to Detroit in 2020, first with the Detroit Lions and now with the Detroit Pistons (DETROIT BASKETBALLLL! 🏀).

As an athletic trainer in sports medicine, Billy stays active, but when he’s off-duty, you’ll find him playing chess♟️, being social, or literally running through the streets of the city 🏃. (Follow him on Instagram: )

Jan is a seasoned Canadian diplomat, who has traversed the globe, leaving his mark in cities from Shanghai to Barbados, Miami to Rome, and Phnom Penh!
