The 48th annual Noel Night is scheduled for Saturday, December 3, 2022, with close to 100 participating venues, including the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, College for Creative Studies, Wayne State University, Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History and Michigan Science Center, along with the area's historic churches, galleries, unique small businesses, nonprofit organizations, other arts, cultural and educational institutions, restaurants, bars and breweries, to name just a few.

This , Michigan Science Center will be open for free general admission and will feature a paid holiday themed laser show in their IMAX theater. Black and Brown Theatre will be performing "The Snow Queen" in the Toyota Engineering Theater at 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, and 8:00 pm. A make-and-take activity will also be available! Visit noelnight.org and find the Michigan Science Center under Participating Venues to see their full Noel Night schedule!

What are the Noel Night tips for having a great time? Get there early! Noel Night begins at 5 PM and parking fills up fast. Reservations are strongly encouraged for sit-down dining. Contact restaurants directly to get your table.

The 19th Annual Detroit Tree Lighting presented by DTE Foundation will take place Fri., Nov. 18, as the official kick-off to the holiday season. Festivities begin at 5 p.m. in the heart of Downtown Detroit at Campus Martius Park.

How does a pumpkin patch, music, entertainment, and about a mile stretch of food trucks sound?
Well, there will be all that and more at the Detroit Harvest Festival this weekend.

The event takes place on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.. There will be more then 50 food trucks lining the Dequindre Cut Greenway, with six music stages, and 75 bands. There will also be lots of fun activities for the kids like a bounce house, pumpkin patch, and trick-or-treating. Admission is $5 at the gate, and free for children under 3.
