WND and neighbors across District 6 will be coming together for Motor City Makeover, and we need YOU!

Join us on Saturday, May 30 to beautify our community. Sign up to volunteer here:

Volunteers will help clean and improve several neighborhood priority areas, including:
🌼 Canfield Community Garden
🌿 Lincoln & Selden Lot
🌸 Flower Planting at University Meadows

We are expecting another rainy Saturday. Tomorrow's Spring Fest has been postponed to NEXT FRIDAY at 6 PM at Scripps Park. It will be followed by the Movie Night at Scripps Park at 8:30 PM.

The City of Detroit Parks and Recreation Department informed residents about the City's controlled burn at Bryant-Vermont Park during the February Woodbridge Citizens Council meeting.

The original burn was scheduled for the fall, but WND has learned the City will expedite the burn for tomorrow around 1 pm.

The Detroit Fire Department will be on-site. Property owners around the park have been informed of this update.
