The Detroit Harvest Fest & Food Truck Rally returns tomorrow and Sunday to the Dequindre Cut Greenway from 11am to 8pm! 🍂🍁🎃

The annual event features over 60 food trucks, six music stages and fun Harvest Fest Activities for the whole family. Admission is $5 at the gate and free for children under 3. It’s a fun way to get into the Halloween spirit with your family.

The restored relic of the Detroit Unity Bell is at Eastern Market! 🔔

Eastern Market Partnership, Detroit Historical Society, and master craftsman Carlos Nielbock has fully restored the bell and installed it in the public domain.

The Detroit Unity Bell is a symbol of hope and resilience for the people of Detroit. It was created in response to the 1967 Detroit riots, and its ringing signifies the city's commitment to coming together in the face of adversity. It reminds us of the strength and unity of the people of Detroit. 🧡

The historic murals in Eastern Market are a must-see for anyone visiting Detroit. The market itself is a great place to grab some fresh produce or enjoy a meal, and the murals add an extra dose of culture and history! 🎨

The street art depicts scenes from Detroit's past, including the city's founding, the auto industry, and the civil rights movement, like the mural pictured above by Montreal artist Kevin Ledo.

They’re a great reminder of the city's rich history and the importance of its people. 🧡
