We're excited to announce that Clarke Lewis has been named President of The Platform!

Clarke has been with us since 2016 and has been instrumental in a number of projects including the Fisher Building's partnership with Michigan State University, The Boulevard, Detroit Pistons Performance Center and more. In his new role, Clarke will oversee all aspects of the development and provide strategic direction and oversight of company operations.

We are fortunate to have Clarke on our team and look forward to seeing what more we can accomplish!

Today we announced that we’ll be transforming the original Studebaker Detroit Service Building into 161 affordable loft-style studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments in .

Opening next summer, Piquette Flats will offer its residents loft living in a historic building, steps away from some of the city’s most notable restaurants, bars, and shops along Woodward and Grand Boulevard.

The $38.2 million rehabilitation project will expose the building’s original red brick façade, install new industrial windows, and celebrate the building’s open-column structure, high ceilings and natural light.

Thank you to City of Detroit Government, Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Michigan State University, Detroit Economic Growth Corporation, Kraemer Design Group, PCI One Source Contracting, Preservation Detroit and Flagstar Bank for support with this project.
