Snicker Banana Bites is my dessert for the week! Love this simple recipe from my Simply Quinoa meal plan. Recipe consists of 10 medjool dates, 2 ripe bananas, 1/3 cup of almond butter, 1 cup of dark chocolate chips and 1/4 crushed peanuts. But I have to figure out how to dip them and keep the chocolate melted. Suggestions?😆

Buying a home feels complicated when you’re trying to figure it all out on your own. But with the right guidance, the process becomes a whole lot clearer.

3 things first-time buyers in Metro-Detroit get wrong:

1️⃣ Waiting until they find the perfect house to get pre-approved. (Pre-approval comes FIRST — always.)

2️⃣ Assuming the list price is the final price. (In this market, sometimes it's the starting point.)

3️⃣ Not accounting for closing costs. (Budget 2–4% of the purchase price on top of your down payment.)

Buying your first home in Metro-Detroit is absolutely doable right now. You just need to go in with the right information.

📊 Detroit Housing Market Update — March 2026

The March numbers are in, and the Detroit market is giving us a lot to work with.
Single-Family Residential: Median sales price climbed 8.2% year-over-year to $92,000, and average prices are approaching $122,000. But closed sales dropped 24.3%, and months of supply rose to 5.7. Translation: inventory is growing, homes are sitting a little longer (63 days average), and buyers have more options than they did 12 months ago — but sellers still have pricing power in the right conditions.

Condominiums: A different dynamic entirely. Prices softened — median down 14.9% to $260,000 — but buyer activity is accelerating. Pending sales surged 55.6% and days on market dropped 30%. Condo buyers are recognizing value and acting on it.

What this means if you're thinking about making a move: ✅ Sellers — You have leverage, but presentation and pricing strategy matter more now than they did a year ago. ✅ Buyers — More inventory, more negotiating room on condos, and still-low prices relative to the broader MLS. ✅ Investors — Detroit continues to trade well below the state MLS median. The long-term upside case remains intact.

Every neighborhood tells a different story within these numbers. If you want to know exactly what's happening on your block — or what your home is worth in this market — I'm happy to put together a personalized breakdown.

National Superhero Day may have passed, but the mission continues every day.

In real estate, being a “superhero” isn’t about a cape—it’s about impact.

It’s about helping clients make informed investments.
It’s about revitalizing neighborhoods like North Rosedale Park, Jefferson Chalmers, and New Center.
It’s about empowering individuals and families to build long-term wealth through property ownership.

At the core of my work is a simple mission:
Revitalize. Invest. Empower.

I don’t just facilitate transactions—I help transform communities.

If you’re looking to buy, sell, or invest in Detroit and want a strategic, community-focused partner, let’s connect.

Metro-Detroit market check — here's what I'm seeing right now 👀

Homes in the $250K–$450K range across Livonia, Canton, and Westland are still moving fast. Many going under contract within days of hitting the market.

If you're a buyer in this range and you're not pre-approved yet — that's your first move. Seriously.

If you're a homeowner who's been curious what your place is worth in today's market — it may be higher than you think.

Either way — I'm here, I'm active, and I'll give you a real answer. Not a sales pitch.
