What a treasure hunt!! So many things from a life well lived, a world well traveled and a sweet family being able to focus on spending time with mom and dad,helping them get settled in their new community, while we deal with the hard stuff.
My team, myself and our auctioneers are having a blast on such a fun adventure taking a trip around the world in our clients home. A beautiful sofra rug from turkey for low dining used for thier area rug, a prayer rug, stunning copper pot, to african and middle eastern treasures everywhere, along with a lot of old farm decor and so much more. They were quite the collectors of many things, with exceptional taste. This one is gonna be a lot of work. 3 basements, 3 garages and a 5 bedroom, 2 story house. Time for our roller skates!

Last week we had the pleasure of getting to know our guest Zhanibek Zhumadil the owner of visiting Angels Gettysburg. What a wonderful human and what a great organization. This company has really set itself apart as a caregiving company. They find particular caregivers as they bring in clients. These caregivers are handpicked because they have something in common with the clients, things that help them build friendship and trust. They require many hours of training before they can start and require many hours of training once they become employees. I am so impressed with the compassion and professionalism of this company. Such an enlightening and enjoyable conversation.

Hey all, I haven't posted in a while as we have been so busy helping our seniors transition. I am so very blessed to have the experienes of getting to know these amazing sweet seniors!! So many talents, experiences and backgrounds. An ex vet in the Navy, high enough security he would have to kill me if he told me what he did lol. He is also an expert in constitutional rights.
Another who is so sweet and thinks she has no skills just because she never worked outside the home, but she has made over 500 baby booties for her local hospital in the last few years and made and sold hundreds of the most beautiful patterned doilies I have ever seen. Not to mention she does beautiful floral arrangements, wreaths and more and is so very detailed and organized.
Please get to know a senior, hear their stories, they are not invisible and they have so very much to teach us and tell us before it is too late. Adopt a grandma or grandpa at a community or in your neighborhood. Show them love, keep checking on them and let them know just how important and special they are!!! IT will make you rich!

Some of the pictures from the historic farmhouse we are working on. So many unique items. Best treasure hunt we've had in a long time. Wonderful children who are so appreciative of all of our services.. struggling to go through the home on their own. Parents who were artists, educators, collectors, readers, and wonderful contributors to their community.

We're so privileged to get to do what we do each day.

It's truly a pleasure to work with sweet clients who have gathered some interesting treasures throughout their life. Currently working on a beautiful historic home late 1800s, across from a civil war encampment area.
It is like walking through a museum.
