Residents, family members, friends, and team members gathered for the annual crab feast at Glen Meadows - our Life Plan community in Glen Arm, MD. Everyone enjoyed this favorite tradition and spending time together.

Great food and great company made for a wonderful Sunday Buffet! 🍂

A total of 53 guests gathered at Westminster Woods - our Independent Living community in Huntingdon, PA - to enjoy a delicious menu featuring a carving station, flank steak, sea bass with lemon parmesan cream sauce, fall apple and pear salad with homemade cranberry vinaigrette, and stuffed acorn squash with apples, cranberries, pecans, cinnamon, and brown sugar.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an afternoon of seasonal flavors and fellowship!

Celebrating the Power of Partnership ⛳

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 Partners in Mission Reception and Jack Barnhart Memorial Golf Tournament!

Together, these events celebrated the impact of philanthropy and the partnerships that help enrich the lives of PSL residents, villagers, and team members. Our generous Partners in Mission broke another record contributing $279,500!

While rain prevented tournament play, it couldn't dampen the spirit of generosity, fellowship, and commitment to Presbyterian Senior Living's mission.

PSL celebrated Diane Dantos, Volunteer extraordinaire and PSL Altruism Award winner for 2025, with a lunch for her and her family on July 10 at the Presbyterian Village of Hollidaysburg.

Diane volunteers daily from early in the morning (sometimes before 7am) until after lunch Monday through Friday enriching the lives of the residents in the personal care home. She brings purpose, meaning, friendship and laughter to their lives through her companionship, trivia, movement, song, stories, prayer, games and sharing of meals. She loves "spending time with her girls" and they look forward to spending time with her. She has been volunteering selflessly since June of 2020.

PSL, the team and residents at Presbyterian Village and all who have met Diane are lucky to not just call her a friend, but to call her family. You can't help but smile when you are near Diane. Diane, we are blessed to have you in our lives!

PSL congratulations the latest class of newly certified Dementia Live Coaches. Breanna Johnson, Community LIfe at St Andrew's Village; Carrie Cornell, Social Worker at Quincy Village; Jamie Nye, IL Director at Green Ridge Village; Buffey Seibert, Community Life Director at Green Ridge Village, and Nicole Nelson, HR Manager at Pine Run VIllage all spent a day immersed in learning about memory loss with Alicia Fenstermacher, VP of Purposeful Living. Dementia Live® is a high impact, dementia simulation experience that immerses participants into life with dementia, resulting in a deeper understanding of what it’s like to live with cognitive impairment and sensory change. They join the PSL team of over 75 coaches who are working to bring the experience to PSL team members, volunteers, family members and friends in an effort to improve understanding and reduce stigma.

A corporate-level formal recognition program, President’s Club is intended to reward team members who consistently go above and beyond in their roles, regularly demonstrate behaviors aligning with PSL's mission and values and continuously foster a positive workplace culture. Team members are nominated by their supervisor or executive director.

This weekend we're celebrating National Centenarians Day 💯 ... and the MORE THAN 75 Centenarians who live in our communities!

We are delighted to celebrate these residents as they achieve this milestone - and every year after! With our focus on person-centered care, each celebration is unique for each individual. We've shared birthday parties with small family gathers and community-wide festivities. We've invited former neighbors, church families and elected officials ... even the Philly Phanatic crashed one special party! We've had special music and special cars. We even had a firetruck parade, fulfilling one resident's lifelong dream to ride in a firetruck!

Congratulations to ALL our Centenarians! Thank you for sharing your wisdom and stories with your neighbors and our team!

In honor of tomorrow’s National Nonprofit Day, Presbyterian Senior Living is celebrating its status as a nonprofit provider of senior living services! Presbyterian Senior Living enjoyed a beautiful day at the Colonial Golf & Tennis Club in Harrisburg for the Jack Barnhart Memorial Golf Tournament, presented by Prelude Services. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Stephen Proctor Endowment that supports PSL's affordable housing communities and small stand-alone personal care homes.
