The 6weeks of fall tree planting continues.

We have very dry conditions this week.
It's been a struggle to spade and work trees on planting install in the north valley. Next week I'm planning to come up with some type of pallet water tank system in a truck to put down 10gallons of water before to prep the ground for picking with such low moisture content.
Either way besides staking and wire ties this is a wrap for week 2 on our 6week fall tree planting season.
-6 dead spruce removal.
-6 stump grind/dirt work prep

-6 white Spruce spaded/Install planted
-Staked up/Fertilizer

The 6week season of fall tree planting is on. Check out this great looking 8year old spring snow flowering crab apple, planting with our contracting division Ground 1 Contracting.
Fun fact: to my local knowledge anyway, I believe the spring snow flowering crab is the only crab apple tree that doesn't actually produce crab apple berry's.
No berry- no mess-no yellow jacket wasps. Just a nice clean tree, producing nice clean white flower blooms.

Whole Sale Firewood Orders:

I'm always taking orders on firewood as material comes in off removal sites. We are currently running 6-8 cord mixed firewood loads a week of material stored at our various parking yards around the fm area. If your in need of firewood material I have a few options.

-Rough cut mixed firewood
(3-4ft chunks direct off removal sites)
-$100cord

-Finish cut mixed firewood
(2ft chunks cut split finished
-$200cord

-1/3 cord finished 4/4tote finish cut firewood
(2ft chunks cut split finished in a 4by4 tote)
-$100cord

I can deliver about 3cord loads in our 16ft gooseneck end dump to your location. Free delivery within 10miles fm area on 3cord otherwise I can run 3cord loads to the lakes area as well + $60.

WEEPING WILLOW TREES?

With over 200 different lines between all the hybrid, these trees always amaze me. It's not very often we have come into a removal on a willow with the tree service division, but it does come up once or twice a year.

With that I just wrapped up a couple phone calls and logistics truck transport calls to start inventory next month.
We will have a very limited inventory just launching this retail sales division this year. But ive always been a big Weeping Willow fan and I think most of you will agree these are an amazing tree.

The 3 species of willow will initially stock:

-Golden Weeping Willow (5gal/7gal planter)
-One White Weeping Willow (5gal/7gal planter)
-Babylonian Weeping Willow(5gal/7gal planter)

The Willow species in general is a very adaptable, fast growing, tough tree when it comes to growth. Most do great in our upper midwest zone #4 area.l, sandy loam lakes area Ground close to a pond or lake or even around the clay in the fm area valley. The Golden can grow 60ft plus with a canopy spread 60ft plus side to side. The wood itself is lighter material, alot like cork fibers. The white and babyalon have a second to nothing hybrid color scheme but still hold the original fast growing characteristics Willow are known for. Amazing tree here and im excited to be a sales nursery for a few unique willow species.

Ground 1 Materials will have roughly 30-spruce trees coming in off a land development project early next month. These are all 10'-14' and 3inch diameter trunk in a 36" spade root ball.
-Blue Spruce
-Norway
-White Pine/Spruce.

These trees have all been skirted up 3'-4' around this property and because of that factor I can make an awesome deal on all of these. As low as $90 per tree if your taking 3 or more volume.

If you don't mind a skirted up tree 3ft and could use some Minnesota Spruce I can make some great deals on these first week of April.
