We were so happy to buy a pig at the Ripley County Fair. We have many great memories of Sadie showing and selling livestock during her years in 4-H and FFA. This job we finished up in early January. We had to fix the floor in the bathroom that had water damage and rot. We replaced the sub floor and redid the tile throughout the bathroom. We also changed the countertop and faucet. Along with redoing the bathroom we added French doors leading into the second living room from the dining room.

Occasionally we will be posting cheap tips & tricks you can use to do small updates to your home for a big impact. With these jobs, we replaced the cabinet pulls on the cabinets and replaced door k***s on the doors. We changed the cabinet k***s from antique bronze to gold. The gold pulls make the cabinets "pop" again, and only cost $1.00 each on Amazon. You can also get them in stainless finish. On the closet bifold doors we replaced the old white ones with new brushed nickel k***s to give it a more classy look. You can get them for around a $1.00 each on Amazon. On the other closet door we replaced the brass door k**b to a brushed nickel door k**b to update it. They average around $15-$20 each. They come in many different styles and finishes.

This is our most recent remodel we finished up this week. We painted the the kitchen, sunroom, laundry closet, storage closet, and half bathroom. Along with new paint, we laid new floor throughout. We painted the vanity in the bathroom, changed the faucet, light fixture, and towel bars. In the sunroom we painted the ceiling, trim, changed door k***s, and replaced the ceiling fan. The laundry closet and storage closet got a fresh coat of paint too. In the kitchen we added a new back splash, changed door k***s, and changed light fixtures.

This house had a leak from a furnace in the attic that caused water damage to the ceiling which eventually caused it to fall in. We replaced all the sheetrock on the ceiling and painted it. We also added insulation to the attic.
