Florida eliminated the commercial sales tax on commercial leases in October 2025. If you are a business owner leasing commercial space in Miami-Dade, this is real money back in your pocket every single month.

Before the repeal, businesses paid a 4.5% sales tax on top of their commercial rent. On a $10,000 per month lease that was $450 extra every month or $5,400 per year gone to taxes. That money now stays in your business.
