George Sellers was born in Orange County, California. He readily admits he is from the land of fruits and nuts but is proud that his heritage is from the sandhills of Northwest Florida (Holmes and Washington Counties). George is an alumnus of Florida State University and The University of Alabama. So he says, “Role Nole”. In 1981, George married Miriam Tanton (Eufaula, Alabama). They live on the family farm outside Hartford, Alabama. This farm has been in Miriam’s family since the mid-1800s.

In October 2018, George & Miriam opened AR Workshop Dothan, a Do-It-Yourself home decor boutique on Ross Clark Circle in Dothan.
