Glad this last week has passed...Only bc of the circumstances in a short time frame. But thankful for it! It was a lot! It was fun! It was hard! We laughed! We ate good food! We saw a lot of beautiful homes and some not as they pictured. And we toured one where the owner was still asleep in their bed at our scheduled time! 🤣 It was a good time and I am thankful for it. We all made it! Made new friends and am blessed! We did that!

One of my clients who are from Moldova, got their dream home under contract yesterday and it just melts my heart. We revisited the house today so that they could get measurements for furniture and another look at the property for plants and flowers, given they live out of state. This one was a special one and was a little stressful too with the sellers wanting an extended closing and just hard to deal with, honestly. But I/we persevered and got it! We still had a good time through it all and house hunting and become friends. Their day will come to close and dream no more and get to LIVE IT! 📝🏡🩷

FHA loans are becoming a much bigger part of today’s housing market as affordability pressures continue reshaping who can buy homes in 2026.

According to Realtor.com's latest down payment report, FHA loans have accounted for more than 24% of all purchase mortgages for five consecutive quarters, the longest stretch at that level since 2016.

The shift highlights how more buyers are relying on lower down payment options and more flexible financing just to enter the market as mortgage rates and home prices remain elevated.
