Tonight at Oval Beach, we ran into MICHIGAN PHOTOGRAPHER | BRANDS | WEDDINGS | SENIORS | PORTRAITS who offered to capture a few photos of Alex and I walking along the beach at sunset.

Sounds romantic, right? 😅

Except the kids had other plans. There was running, laughing, chaos, and absolutely no interest in letting us have our moment. And honestly? That’s our life right now.

It wasn’t the perfectly posed photo we imagined, but it was a pretty perfect moment anyway.

Grateful to live in a place where a random night at the beach can turn into a sunset, a story, and a memory that’s funny to look back on.
