We flew first-class, as an added treat, on , from ATL - PUJ, where we were picked in a private vehicle and whisked away to our favorite all-inclusive resort JOIA Bávaro by Iberostar

We were definitely treated like Royalty by their wonderful staff, including Star Prestige.

We were upgraded to a lake/pool and ocean view room overlooking the beautiful resort (the grounds are INMACULATE).

Our butlers, Alan & Armando, took wonderful care of us, with daily check-ins, sharing event/meal schedules, having plantain chips delivered to our room (our favorite), and surprised us one day when we got back from the pool, with a decorated room full of rose pedals and Moet (and freshly drawn bath)! ❤️

Daily massages were heavenly in their spa. Some other highlights included: A beautiful gym overlooking the ocean with white sandy beaches; themed-food every day (Mexican, Italian, Asian, & Dominican - our personal favorite) 😊 Truly endless food and drinks pouring; shows every evening (The Dominican Show was wonderful); nightly gathering inside and outside the resort lobby; and the Cabana’s/Pools!

But, what we enjoy most about the Dominican Republic are the people & their beautiful spirit. It truly is what make DR a special place, whether you are looking to celebrate a birthday, holiday, vacation, business trip, or extended stay.

Everyone has a smile and positive attitude.

Every morning starts with ¡Buenos días! and every night ends with buenas noches ❤️
