Last winter, Shane and Chelsea reached out to let me know they were thinking about selling their home when summer arrived. This wasn't just any home, it was the first home they purchased together 11 years ago, choosing an owner-occupied multifamily as a way to get started as homeowners.
Over those 11 years, they made it their home, started a family, and built a lot of memories there. Now they've officially closed that chapter and are beginning a new one in their new home closer to family.
The road from that first conversation to closing had a couple of twists and turns, but Shane and Chelsea trusted me to help guide them through the process and make the decisions that ultimately got us to the finish line. I couldn't be happier for them!
Their story is also a great reminder for first-time buyers: your first home doesn't necessarily have to be a single-family home. An owner-occupied multifamily can be a great way to begin your homeownership journey while having rental income help offset some of the costs.

This one felt a little like an episode of House Hunters!!

Zach and Kaitlyn reached out to me, ready to start the search for their very first home. We met up on a Sunday and toured three properties, and as it turned out, the very first condo we walked through was the one!
We put together an offer the next day, had just a little negotiating to do, and before we knew it, Zach and Kaitlyn were under contract. From our first showing to the closing table in just over a month!
A big thank you as well to listing agent Jennifer Andrus for helping make this such a smooth and seamless transaction from start to finish. It’s always appreciated when everyone works together to get their clients to the closing table!
Anyone who knows me knows how much I enjoy working with first-time homebuyers. There’s something especially rewarding about helping someone navigate the process for the first time and handing them the keys at the end of it.

Closed!

Last winter, Isabelle reached out to me with a goal: it was time to stop renting and time to purchase her first home.

Over the next several months, we viewed homes, explored listings, and searched for the right fit. While there were some good possibilities along the way, nothing felt quite right.

Then one day in May, Isabelle was out for a drive with a friend when she spotted a home and said, "That's exactly what I'm looking for."

Six days later, that very same home came on the market. It almost felt like she had willed it into existence.
