Vermont Association of Realtors Leadership Academy Session #5!

A great day learning and soaking up so many helpful tips from the incredibly talented Nicole Junas Ravlin of Junapr, a Vermont-based, women-owned strategic communications and PR agency.

Our media and spokesperson training covered what to do, more importantly, what NOT to do (!) when dealing with the media, featuring some truly cringeworthy examples.

I joked that I was having flashbacks to freshman-year public speaking class, and turns out… there really is more to learn. ABC: Always be camera…ready!

An amazing few days in Chicago with this incredible group! Such a great opportunity to swap ideas, compare notes, and brainstorm ways to keep making our Associations better for our members. Excited to bring some fresh ideas back home and keep the conversations, collaboration, and momentum going into 2027!

The 2026 NAR Leadership Summit is underway in Chicago, bringing together presidents-elect and association executives from state and local REALTOR® associations across the country. The annual Summit is designed to help incoming leaders build strong partnerships, prepare for the year ahead and connect with REALTOR® leaders nationwide. This year, 12 incoming leaders from Vermont attended. Shaping up to be a great tournament weekend! 👏

What a fantastic night!

Sponsors mingled, friends played pickleball, others cheered from the sidelines, we enjoyed pizza from Tony's, and the Wilmington Inn's mobile bar cart provided beverages.

But the best part? Seeing our community come together to support the United Way of Windham County.

My phone died pretty early, so I didn't get many photos. And honestly, I'm okay with that. Some of the best nights aren't the ones you capture on your camera—they're the ones you experience together. Tonight was about being present, making connections, sharing some laughs, and supporting a cause that makes a real difference in our community.

Thank you to everyone who came out, volunteered, sponsored, donated, and helped make the evening so special. This is what community looks like.

Vermont Association of Realtors Session 4 mixed with the annual Hoopla really did feel like REALTOR® summer camp. A phenomenal few days in Killington filled with team building, conflict resolution, legal insight, and lots of fun.

Great reminders that there’s always something new to learn in this business and new perspectives to stay sharp for the clients, consumers, and communities we serve. Very fortunate to continue to grow along side this incredible group of Vermont REALTORS®.
