Manufactured Home Resident Scholarship: Four (4) $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors, GED recipients, or students who are currently enrolled in college, technical schools, or trade schools. Full or part-time registration in an accredited program is acceptable. Award recipients may reapply annually. Eligible participants must live in a modular or manufactured home in Delaware for at least one year prior to the application.

Manufactured Home Resident Scholarship: This completed application must be accompanied by an original type-written 300-word essay explaining the impact of factory-built housing on your life, career goals and why you feel you are deserving of a scholarship, a copy of your high school, GED, or college transcript, and three letters of reference from businesspersons, clergy, or community leaders. Only one of these may be from a school administrator or teacher. You may copy the included sheet for your letters of reference OR attach your individually typed letters of reference. To be considered, the completed application, with essay and reference, must be postmarked to FSMHA by April 15, 2025.

Award Selection: Selection is based on the essay response, scholastic grades, community involvement, honors recommendations, and personal goals. Alternates will be selected and move to first place should a winner be disqualified, receive a full scholarship from another source, or decide not to further his/her education. Recipients and those who are not chosen for this scholarship will be notified via mail in April.
