In November of 2009 my moms partner & my step dad of 11 years passed away and we went into a downward spiral bouncing around from place to place. The next year and half was extremely tough for the both of us. 2011 we found ourselves renting out rooms in a 4 bedroom house with a friend of mine and a few other guys we didn’t know. We struggled financially, not paying our rent timely, and eating eggs with $2 meat everyday.

My Tia saved us from there and allowed us to recover in her home. My mom hustled and made sure we were never hungry, but I wasn’t bringing in any income that could help us. I was motivated and HUNGRY to help my mom and our situation.

When I joined T-Mobile my regional walked into my store and coached me up for 30 minutes. The techniques he taught me generated a few sales just an hour later! I admired his ability to walk in briefly and make an impact on me with such great magnitude. It was right there where I thought to myself, “man I want to be able to do that, make an impact on everyone I meet”. Within 3 short months of me being hired my mom and I were able to get our own place. My regional Arvey Tambunan would go on to become my mentor and help me progress financially, professionally, and as a man.

He gave me a piece of advice that has truly stuck with me over the past 10 years. “Think like the position you want to be in, not the position you are currently in” This advice has given me perspective when others would see doubt. It has given me opportunities when others have seen the door shut. Its allowed me to separate from the pack and elevate.

My current mentor gave me a tremendous opportunity here with Nueva Real Estate. Through his guidance and support I have the opportunity to help families who are in need of that same support. Families who need a visionary and a backbone to lead them through the journey of homeownership. Allow me to join you on your journey of getting to the next level.

Myth 1:  You Will Sell Your Home Faster Than Anyone Else

Fact: Nearly 90% of home buyers use an agent to find property.

In reality, almost 90% of all home buyers use an agent to find their new home.  If your home isn’t listed, it is practally  invisible to those 90% of buyers.  It is dificult to sell your home faster AND for more money by ONLY marketing it to 10% of the active buyers in the market.

Myth 2: You Will Walk Away with More $$$$ in your Pocket

Fact: Homes Listed with Agents sell for 32% more than FSBO Sales

According to studies,  agent-assisted home sell for  an average of 32% MORE than FSBO sales. Which means when you think you are  “saving” 6% on real estate commissions you are actually losing 26%!  In addition, a majority of buyers that look at FSBOs are expecting a DISCOUNT on the purchase of a FSBO by the usual commission.  Unfortunately both buyer and seller can’t get receive a “Discount” so you will probably have to budge if you want to sell.

Myth 3: You Will Have a Lot Less Hassle

Fact: There is a lot of work involved in the sale of your home!

You are responsible for all of the advertising (including extensive costs), scheduling showings, previewing & qualifying buyers, preparing and showing your property, contacting appraisers, contractors, inspectors, etc. all while protecting your interest in hopes that you understand the terms involved in the trasaction. By employing an experienced REALTOR®, you will eliminate most of the headache involved in selling your home. What will you do with this extra time…we suggest using it to pack 😉

“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance”

I don’t usually smile with teeth, but I got a lot to smile for 😁

We tend to focus on what we don’t have or we zoom in on the stumbles within our path. But I stumbled with shoes on my feet, and on legs that walk.

Any path to fulfillment isn’t easy!Im grateful for my stumbles, and for the challenges that lie ahead. ADVERSITY builds character, builds wisdom, and builds gratitude.

As long as I continue to be built, I know I am on the right path.
