My first job.

I just got back from a final walk-through and as I was driving down Bristol Street in Santa Ana, I noticed the 7-Eleven I used to work at when I was 10 years old. So many things have changed since 1982. The parking lot seemed a lot bigger. I remember my job was to sweep the parking lot and stock the candy and sweep the inside of the store. The owners back then were gracious enough to give me a shot. And even though it was a dollar an hour for 1 hour a day for 7 days a week, it was the beginning of my work history.

The Ownership has changed over the years and I met a very nice gentleman who had been working there for 22 years.

It was nice to relive my childhood and remembering all the good times I had working and the joy it felt being able to give my mom $5 a week to help with groceries.

Thank you 7-Eleven 🙏 and the owners of that franchise for teaching me the value of hard work and responsibility.
