Confession: I picked up my phone this morning to check the time and somehow ended up 20 minutes deep watching golden retriever puppies meet their owners for the first time. 🥲🐶

Worth it? Honestly, kind of. But also… no.
Because that was 20 minutes I could've spent calling a past client, prepping for our team meeting, or honestly just drinking my coffee while it was still hot.

I talk to agents all the time who say they "don't have time" to follow up, to prospect, to learn the new tools. And listen, I get it. But I also know what my screen time report looks like on a bad week. We have the time. We're just handing it to apps designed to keep us there.

So I'm trying something this week: phone in the kitchen until 9am. No scrolling before I've done one thing that actually moves my business forward.

We tired each other out this weekend .... So much fun hanging out with this sweetie yesterday and napping together was the best!!!

For 15 years Mustang has opened Wingaersheek with me ... Getting ready for summer memories with everyone ... Runs on the beach in the early years ... Long leisurely naps on the deck in the later years ....

It hit me tonight that this weekend is going to be really hard without him.... Another empty place that he used to fill with such love and joy!

Every year when we would first go up to the beach house ... He would JUMP out of the car and run up to the door looking for his Grammie ... He would be so disappointed that she wasn't there yet from FL. He would do this every weekend those first few weekends we went up... And by the time Grammie was there in early June, he would have given up looking for her. When she would be at the door finally he would be SOOOO shocked and happy!!!

It's a little longer between the tears .... But it's still so so hard. Miss you so much. I just want one more snuggle ....
