There’s a lot of rumors about another storm hitting us this weekend. It’s simply not true.
Currently there is no forecast cone and no reliable model showing another hurricane hitting our area in the next 7 days.  I’m showing you the seven day forecast for rain totals. There is a medium risk of development in the Gulf of Mexico for a named storm. That could be a tropical depression or even a tropical storm in the next 7 days. But a cold front late week looks to keep whatever that is with a higher chance of moving toward Florida… If it even forms. To reiterate none of our reliable computer models show impacts at all, coming our way. I will keep you posted as recovery and rescue efforts continue.
