Several weeks ago I mentioned I've published a novel partially based on my experiences living in China in the mid-1980s. The book -- The King of Ningxia -- recently received a profoundly good review. It was so good I didn't think the reviewer was talking about me.
At the end, it said, "Mr. Morgnanesi's King of Ningxia is a great yarn, but it's also a remarkably detailed record of the profound changes China has undergone over four decades. And then there is the overarching story line of Duke's relationship with Song Mei, which, with its complications and ups and downs, could serve as a metaphor for the ever-evolving relationship between the United States and China. And so, enjoy "King of Ningxia" as a love story. But know that, along the way, you are also getting a well documented record of China's recent history."
In the event you might be interested, The King of Ningxia is available on Amazon.
