At Hearth & Haven Vacation Rentals, hospitality is about more than just providing a place to stay — it’s about showing up for guests when they need help most.

Recently, guests staying at Shady Grove were in town celebrating their daughter’s graduation from Texas State when they ran into a stressful situation on checkout morning. One of their vehicles broke down unexpectedly, and they suddenly realized they had nowhere for their dog to stay while attending the ceremony.

With another guest checking in that same afternoon, a late checkout unfortunately wasn’t possible — but instead of simply saying “sorry,” our local team worked together to find a solution. We coordinated with the guests and cleaning team so their pup could safely remain in a bedroom while they attended graduation and handled the tow truck situation.

The guest later shared:
“Talk about stressing out! … he had figured out what we could do with the pup! Thank you!!”

That’s the Hearth & Haven difference.
