To celebrate opening day being 🎃ONE MONTH🎃 from today, we are excited to share our 2026 Special Events Calendar!!! These events are in addition to our regular fall festival activities. Two new events are 📸Family Photo Day with Macy Mack Photography📸 and 🚜Touch a Tractor Day🚜!

🦋TBA - Butterfly Release @ 11am. Release a butterfly in our beautiful sunflower field.
🍁9/18 - ​ Free Hayride & Bonfire Night​ @ 6pm - 8pm. Join us for a FREE hayride! Concessions open at 5pm. Free hayrides begin at 6pm.
🐮9/19 - Got Milk Day @ 11am - 2pm. Free cow milking demonstrations and calf bottle feeding.
📸9/19 - ​Family Photo Day with Macy Mack Photography @ 12:30pm - 4:30pm. Drop in for a family photo and receive 2 digital copies to your email for $12.
🧶9/26 - ​Fall Vendor Fair @ 10am - 4pm. Shop 50 local vendors. Free admission and parking!
🌽10/9 - Fall Fun Night @ 2pm - 9pm. We're staying open late for a special evening of fall fun! Bonfire, hayrides, corn maze, food, glow paintball gallery, and more!
🔥10/16 - Bonfire Night @ 2pm - 9pm. Bonfire, glow paintball shooting gallery, corn maze, food, and more!
🚜10/17 - ​Touch a Tractor Day​ @ 10a - 2pm. Come see various kinds of tractors and learn about their uses. Take pictures and vote for your favorite!
🍭10/31 - Candy Express Barrel Train @ 2pm - 3pm. Kids 12 and under will receive a free barrel train ride and free Candy! Wear your costumes!

Introducing, our new farm sign!!!!!

Story time…….about 14 years ago we moved the entire pumpkin patch operation back our gravel lane to our current location. Previously, we were located down the road at a relative’s house that had road frontage. We were excited, but truly so scared. We didn’t know if anyone would drive back our long gravel lane to get to us. With no road frontage, how would they know about us?

Over the years, you all have certainly proved our fears wrong. YOU CAME and you’ve kept showing up in a big way. Thank you so much!!!!

Back then we could never have dreamed of having a sign as nice as this located back our lane, but today it seems completely reasonable and needed. Throughout the year we see many vacation rental guests, milk customers, hay customers, and fall festival guests.

We can’t wait for you to see it in person!

Huge thank you to Dead Center Fabrication for making the incredible metal sign! Winning that sign in their giveaway set this whole plan in motion.

Thank you also to Shelley’s dad, Dan, who took an AI rendering and turned this beautiful sign into a reality. It’s spectacular!

Thank you to Matt for cleaning out the old fence row, digging the holes, and installing the sign on a 93 degree day. He is a man who knows how to get it done!

*AVAILABILITY UPDATE* Our calendar is filling up at Swiss Hills Cottage! It’s such a pretty time of year to stay at the farm with the trees leaving out, grass greening up, and adorable new baby calves running around! 🌷
