I moved to Columbus, Ohio in 2007 and completed my Master of Arts degree at THE Ohio State University in 2010… GO BUCKS! While in graduate school, I met my husband – Fred. He was born and raised in Dublin, Ohio and that is where we decided to raise our family. Freddie and I have two children, Landon and Bradyn. I hear comments all the time about how “𝒻𝓁𝑒𝓍𝒾𝒷𝓁𝑒” real estate is. 💬

And they’re not wrong. Real estate can be flexible. Especially flexible when you’re only doing a few transactions a year. The funny thing about real estate is that the better you get, the less “9-to-5” it becomes.

And when your business is built on relationships, referrals, and being available when your clients need you most, flexibility starts to look a lot different.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚?
Showings happen after work. 
Negotiations happen at dinner.
Contracts seem to love expiring at 9 PM on a Saturday.
It also never fails that as soon as I head out of town, the phone rings.

Most clients are free when they’re off the clock, which means that’s often when we’re busiest.
And during peak market season? Long days and full weekends are part of the job.
That’s not a complaint, it’s just the truth behind the scenes.

After years in this business, I’ve learned that great service comes from experience, systems, boundaries, and an amazing team behind the scenes.

Not every 🏠 for sale in Central Ohio is priced the way it should be… and not every homeowner is as firm as they may seem.

Sometimes the listing is already telling you room to negotiate. You just have to know what to look for. 👀

Swipe through for the signals I check every time a client finds a home they love.

There are a few other tricks out there too. Things like a home that’s been expired and re-listed... or ones where the data shows it’s overpriced for that neighborhood.
