Please be honest with your tax professional about receiving the first or second stimulus. Of course we all know the recovery rebate credit will increase your refund amount and during this pandemic I understand the importance of finances.

However, please remember the IRS sent you the first and second stimulus so they have that economic payment information on file in their system! If you’re dishonest with your tax professional about receiving your first or second stimulus this WILL DELAY YOUR TAX REFUND!

Nothing the less: Keep it real with your tax professional so that your tax refund is not delayed.

If you still have not received your EIP 2 (second stimulus) it’s important to continue to be patient. The IRS has started issuing payments for taxpayers that may have had some account issues as of January 26th! This means they will continue to release funds in batches from January 26th to February 5th!

If your bank account was no longer active when they attempted to deposit your EIP 2, your check will be mailed to the address on file beginning February 2nd! So please be patient with the 📬

This form has been circulating with inaccurate information. This form is used by “Tax Professionals” when they are unable to e-file their client's returns. You as a “Taxpayer”will not be able to file this form, as you don't possess a PTIN number. This form will not help you if you have an offset. If you're filing with a spouse who has an offset, you may qualify to receive a portion of the refund through filing an Injured Spouse Form.

If your tax refund was taken due to Student Loans you can possibly get majority of it back by calling 800-621-3115 and telling them know that you are in a financial hardship due to the corona virus crisis. Share to help someone!!!!

Caution: Forbearance is not Forgiveness!!!

If your mortgage company is offering a forbearance during this hardship PLEASE , PLEASE, PLEASE read the fine print. They are all NOT the same. You must READ!!!! The balance of payments missed is due IN FULL at the end of the given period.

For Example: If your monthly payment is $1,000 and you do a 6 month forbearance on month 7 you will owe $7,000 total.

ATTENTION Taxpayers,

The COVID-19 Stimulus funds will be based on your 2018 tax returns. If you have not filed your 2018 tax return, they will consider your 2019 tax return.

COVID-19 Stimulus funds will be released by the 2nd week of April and again on the first week of May. Funds will be mailed out. Please fill out the form 8822 if your address has changed between 2018 and now. If your address is accurate for your 2019 tax return, you are great.

You can go to the IRS website to print the form yourself, go to any local tax company or library to get the form.
