WiFi is back

Network update 1/20/25: 3:30pm - the repair made to the WAPA-owned and VINGN-managed (Virgin Islands Next Generation Network) submarine cable has failed. Technicians are at the St John Substation performing tests to first locate a clean fiber path on the submarine cable and second locate and repair the damaged portion of the cable. Simultaneously, the microwave link to St Thomas is being brought back online. The microwave link is regulated by the U.S. FCC.
