After nine years Joe Haag proposed to me! He didn't know exactly how he was going to do it. He just brought the ring.

We had a weekend trip planned to camp in Voyageurs National Park and we loaded up the canoe and set off. The waves were so big we nearly tipped with Mochi so we had to paddle back to land and call a water taxi.

Made it to the campsite in 15 minutes! On Saturday for a suggestion. I said lets write songs. He said ok. Three hours into it, I thought to myself "wow Joe is taking this very serious. Maybe this was a bad idea" he was still working on his when my girlfriends FaceTimed me. We were chatting and they said oh film your songs we want to see! They had no idea but lined him up perfectly!

So there I was, covered in soot, with two-day underwear on, when he proposed!!! It was so perfect and special. I would spend the rest of my life with Joe, with or without a ring because he is my forever human. He told me we can't get married at the court house. So buckle up, I am leaning in!!!! 🥰🎉💍

Just want everyone to know that it is hard for everyone out there! KEEP GOING! Don't give up! A no only means "not the one." It is definitely frustrating and hard, but nothing happens overnight.
