Our residents love their newly renovated apartments at Applewood Towers II! Everything is fresh and clean, and they are so happy with how it turned out. New cabinets, appliances, flooring, it feels like a brand new home! We recently visited and were told multiple times by many people how much they love it and how thankful they are to be able to live in such a wonderful community.

Our wonderful service coordinator at West Oaks Terrace organized a successful outing for our residents to Galveston, Texas. The residents enjoyed a comprehensive bay boat tour, highlighted by marine life spotting and dolphin watching. Afterward, the group enjoyed regional cuisine at a local seafood establishment, concluding a memorable and relaxing day out before returning home. Everyone had such a great time and they were so thankful for this opportunity to get out and travel as a group.

For our June craft this month at Ashwood Apartments, we made cute keychains for the residents to put their keys on. They all did such a great job! We had so many different designs and colors. A few residents were having so much fun that they made 2 keychains. We had such a great time and we can't wait for next month's craft!

We have multiple raised garden planters at Applewood Towers in Lawrenceville, GA. Our residents were so excited when they found out we were adding them as part of our recent renovation. Each planter is assigned to a resident and they can plant anything they want! Most of them have planted vegetables and we love seeing them collect their harvest. Everyone who wanted one signed up and then we held a lottery system to assign each bed to a resident. It has been a great success!

Our wonderful Service Coordinator, Perla, worked with our friend Carolina at Spectrum to arrange a fun afternoon at Heywood Gardens. Carolina visited us and did a brief presentation on the services they offer, and many of our residents were able to lower their cable, internet, and phone bill! They also provided pizza and bottled water for everyone who attended the event. We appreciate everything they do for our residents!
