✨ BIG Congratulations to my friend Maggie! ✨
This morning, Maggie closed on her very first home in her early 20s. 🏡🔑
Watching her get the keys was such a reminder that homeownership isn’t just for people in their 30s, 40s, or after they’ve “figured everything out.” The truth is, many young adults qualify much sooner than they think.
If I could go back and give my younger self one piece of advice, it would be this: buy a home as soon as you can. I definitely could have qualified in my early 20s, but I assumed I needed more money, better timing, or a bigger down payment. Meanwhile, home prices continued to rise.
The earlier you buy, the earlier you start building equity, creating stability, and investing in your future instead of your landlord’s.
And before you say, “I probably don’t qualify”that’s exactly what many first-time buyers tell me before they find out they do. There are down payment assistance programs, grant opportunities, and loan options that make homeownership more achievable than most people realize.
If you’re in your 20s (or any age) and wondering if buying is possible, send me a message. Let’s have a conversation and see what your options look like.
📩 Your future self might thank you for starting sooner than you think.
