You simply want to schedule some houses to view, but you are being asked to sign a Buyer Broker Agreement. Why and what’s it about?

As of 2024, The National Association of REALTORS has made it a mandatory practice. Therefore, prior to showing properties, the REALTOR is required to get this agreement signed. This means that buyers can no longer enter the real estate market without some type of contractual obligation to the showing REALTOR.
