The Power of Connection. 🏡❤️
I hope you'll stay with me for this story because it's about so much more than selling a house. It's about how one simple connection can create an entire chain of connections you never expected.
Congratulations to my seller, Carol, as she begins an exciting new chapter! ❤️
I first met Val, owner of The Handy Ghost LLC through my mom. He's also a neighbor who owns a local handyman service and has done great work for her. As we got to know each other, I started referring him to some of my own clients, and they had great experiences with him as well.
A short time later, I mailed neighborhood market updates introducing myself, sharing what I'd been selling here in Florida, and simply letting my neighbors know I was there if they ever needed a Realtor.
Not long after the mailers went out, Val gave me a call.
"Hey, my mother-in-law needs to sell her home."
That one phone call led me to Carol.
The next thing I knew, I was sitting with Carol on her patio, walking through her beautiful home, talking about market value, and putting together a plan.
One thing I noticed right from our first meeting was that Carol's family was always there. Whether we were talking about the house, making decisions, or preparing for the next step, they were by her side every step of the way. It was obvious how much they loved and supported one another.
Carol poured her heart into preparing her home for its next owners. It was already a beautiful home, but she wanted every detail to be just right for the next family who would love it as much as she did. Her hard work paid off, and in just 13 days (WOW!) we were under contract ! What an incredible accomplishment in today's Florida market, where many homes are sitting on the market for months.
But what I'll remember most isn't how quickly it sold.
Through Carol's daughter, Kala, I was introduced to our neighbor, Diane Brandt DiCroce , owner of Elevated Title Services in Palm Harbor. It's amazing how one connection can lead to another. Diane and her team were wonderful throughout the transaction, and this journey introduced me to yet another incredible local business owner.
Around the same time, my company and fellow colleagues introduced me to Dave Bailey with HyCree Photography. Dave beautifully showcased Carol's home, and I loved his work so much that I've happily had him showcase my next two listings as well and I'll continue to do so. He is such a valuable photographer, and I'm grateful our paths crossed.
As I looked back on this journey, I realized something...
One neighborhood mailer became one phone call.
One phone call became one listing.
One listing created a chain of connections.
Those connections introduced me to incredible local business owners.
And somewhere along the way, those business relationships became genuine friendships.
Carol may have started as my client, but she became a true friend. Through her, I had the privilege of getting to know an entire family that I genuinely adore.
That's the power of connection.
This business is so much more than contracts and closing days. It's about trust. It's about community. It's about neighbors supporting neighbors, local businesses supporting one another, and the relationships that grow along the way.
To Val, Carol, Kala, Diane, Dave, and everyone who played a part in this journey—thank you. Thank you for your trust, your kindness, and for reminding me why I love what I do.
