HISTORY MYSTERY

Last Thursday, we shared a black-and-white photo of the old Oldsmar train depot, which was torn down in the 1960s. From what we can tell from the photo, it was located close to the intersection of Bayview and State Street (now 580), right across from what is now Holloway Funeral Home.

Some people think the raised platform on 580 marks the depot’s location, but it appears to be a bit farther away. Can you help us solve this mystery? Where do you think the depot really stood?
