Two years of searching. One offer that almost got away.

These buyers weren’t desperate to move, they were just waiting for the right property in Owings. Cleared acreage, good schools, room for their family. We toured homes on and off for years, nothing felt right until this one.

Then a competing offer showed up with an appraisal contingency, and we had 14 days to close or lose it. I worked closely with their lender to explore an appraisal waiver and we beat the clock with a clear to close 3 days early.

BRB I have to go to Calvert County for an “emergency”.

Very urgent matters include: a walk on the North Beach Boardwalk, local produce restock from local farmers, a RNR day at Brownies Beach, a watermelon crush from the Wheelhouse, and finish with a sunset at Lens Marina, Swipe to see. All of these things just feed my soul and I bet they would for you, too!

Most people’s favorite neighborhoods are the ones with the big ol newer houses - but typically these don’t have lots of land. I like to think this neighborhood is my little secret when I have a client who tells me they want a little piece of country.

The Meadows sits just a few minutes from rt 4 and it’s a part of the county where the lots are big enough to actually do the things people say they want to do with them.

Every lot is a minimum of an acre. No HOA. Multiple chicken stands are right in the neighborhood, and Mellomar Golf Park is right around the corner

The trade is 5 more minutes in the car, and that’s the whole trade.

If you’re moving to Calvert County and you keep getting shown quarter acre lots, you’re looking in the wrong part of town.

Marriage is funny when one person has a real “day off” and the other one is a Realtor 😂

But honestly, I wouldn’t trade it. I love my clients, I love what I do, and I’m incredibly grateful that real estate gives me the flexibility to be there for my family and jump in when my clients need me.
