Your inspection is complete.
You’re ready to get the keys 🔑
But there’s still one important step left: the pre-settlement walkthrough.
This is your final opportunity to make sure everything is still exactly as agreed before you officially become the owner.
During your walkthrough, you’ll want to check:
✅ Agreed-upon repairs have been completed
✅ Appliances and fixtures are still in place
✅ Utilities are working properly
✅ No new damage has occurred
✅ The home is in the condition you expected
A walkthrough isn’t a second home inspection it’s a final confirmation that the home you’re purchasing is the home you’re receiving.
Buying a home is one of the biggest investments you’ll make. Taking a few extra minutes before closing can help protect that investment and prevent unexpected surprises.
