Hello,
Thank you to those of you that show interest in living at Garden Manor. I field many calls per week and I thought I would share some important information you need to have prior to calling for an apartment.
When you call start by introducing yourself and state that you are looking for an apartment. Then I will be able to write your name in the log.
Size of apartment:
Garden Manor only has one and two bedroom apartments.
The first question I will ask is “for how many people”?. You need to tell me this first so I can determine the size apartment you might qualify for.
Garden Manor is a low income project property. There are income limits.
I need to know the total income for the proposed household. This is, how much money does your proposed household bring in per month. Some college grants count and some don’t.
Your rent is calculated at 30% of your total household income after various deductions.
When you apply, you will need to provide a birth certificate, social security card, tribal or government identification for each person on the application. If you don’t have access to these documents you may want to obtain them before applying.
You will also need to pay for your electricity. If you owe Ottertail Power for any unpaid utility bills, those bills need to be paid or addressed prior to a lease signing.
