Thank you everyone for all your birthday wishes! Richard took me to Vernalis for dinner and the waitress surprised me with this amazing huge desert. I’ve never seen a plate this big. Canoles, whip cream with swirls of raspberry, Carmel and chocolate. I should have taken the photo before we dug into it! Oh well, you get the idea! Thanks again…Glad to have made it another year!

We are beyond grateful today. So far, all the folks we were worried about in evacuation zones are safe, which is the best news of all. Willis, our wonderful caretaker, returned to the marina and sent us this photo. There doesn't seem to be any damage to the exterior. He will check the interior for water intrusion tomorrow. This is in the Twin Dolphins Marina in Bradenton. We really thought it would be a total loss from hurricane Milton. I guess we will be spending another winter down south. Thank you to all our friends who have reached out in concern for us.
