Rob's office was inside the Texmo building (our profile cover). This particular floor space that is now his office was previously the paint booth for the original owner's car collection.

The finished space now has an epoxy paint floor, propane forced air heat, all walls insulated, CVG doors and windows, and clear cedar interior wall accents.

When we were innkeepers in Elk, CA for a short time, we were given the assignment to "make your place home." We walked into a tiny, cold, funky, and drafty place with absolutely no outside living space. Rob and I love to be outside. We looked at each other and said, "Let's make the outside amazing." While we don't have any before photos, let me tell you that under the deck was dirt and we had very little privacy. The view is one of the most amazing things you will ever see and we wanted to be out there all the time.

The substructure is all pressure treated and the deck is all redwood. The deck design allowed for no butt joints. The storage cabinets were a must while providing privacy as well. The railing gave us safety and another place to sit and dine. The vision was simple and it fit the environment. The bean bag chairs and the hammock added color and fun. Everyone loved this spot and wanted to know how to rent that room! But, it was invitation only and you had to bring wine ☺️

Good morning All and Happy Day after Thanksgiving!! We will be posting photos of projects over time (old and new). Please help us fulfill our intentions of making and keeping homes healthy, creating an income, and helping homeowners with projects large and small. Once established, we will offer help with event planning, in home spa services, and personal chef.
