🚵A little bit of history: mountain biking was first an medal sport at the 1996 Games in Atlanta when former MTB World Champion Juli Furtado was on the team and also living in Durango.

🇺🇸In the 2000 Games, Travis Brown () who is the first Olympian born and bred in Durango, made the Sydney Olympics along with Ruthie Matthes who lives in Durango.
