The Durango Area Association of REALTORS® has received a $15,000 Housing Opportunity Grant to partner with HomesFund to support Homebuyer Education programing in Southwest Colorado, advancing efforts to improve access to housing and address affordability challenges across the region.

We started early, in the full moon light, with headlamps and a little river crossing. Up, up,up 4000 vertical feet over 4.5mi 😅 tons of butterflies and wild raspberries, the usual marmot family at the top. We could see Telluride, Silverton, Durango, Pagosa, Mancos, Cortez, and beyond… We were truly on top of the world. Very grateful that this is what Bestie likes to do for her birthday 🥳🧁✨. Did you know; somewhere in the middle-ish of the land of enchantment, is a corridor with just one national park/preserve/monument after another?! There are red rock landscapes that will make you think you’re in Sedona. There are Ponderosa pine forests that look like Flagstaff, there are wild natural hot springs everywhere… there is a 1.4 million-year-old Caldera 🤯Waterfalls, creeks, seemingly endless trails, climbing opportunities, fishing accesses, cliff dwellings… magic?
