A couple months ago, a friend called me asking if I could help sell the townhouse their mom lived in before she sadly passed away a couple years ago. It was kept and rented to family since then but they were now ready to sell. This happened to be in Apex right up the street from us.

They asked for advice on how to get this well located townhouse ready for market. With the help of Martin Stephenson at CRG Home Services, this townhouse was absolutely transformed as the sellers smartly funded these changes since I told them they would make it up, and then some, on the sale.

Sometimes things just work out perfectly. Laura's parents had been toying with the idea to move to Apex to be closer to us and spend more time with Leann and Brynn. The idea had been on the backburner until they saw the photos of this lovely townhouse.

Long story short, we have new Apex residents just up the street from us that like to babysit. We like to say "win-win or no deal at Keller Williams". Well this was "win-win-win" for all. Satisfied sellers, satisfied buyers, and happy parents, children, and grandchildren.

During my real estate pre-licensing courses, the instructor always said if you are the smartest person in your circle, find another circle. I think I did a pretty good job finding this circle!

I have somehow infiltrated this group of amazing realtors, and even better people, as part of the Associate Leadership Council at Keller Williams. The high level conversations we have are balanced with a lot of laughs every time we meet up.

Tonight we celebrated 2025 and talked about how great our 2026 is going to be. I always get a shot of positive energy whenever I'm around this group. Such an honor to be a part of it.

Starting off 2026 with a very special one! I've been talking to my good friend Darkina about getting off the rental train for a couple years now. In the past, things weren't lining up for her or the timing wasn't right.

However, with some dedication and hard work on her part, she finally closed on her first home today!! We sent each other the same listing at the same time about 6 weeks ago and knew that had to mean something. Nice and quiet, spacious new construction, and easy access to get everywhere she needs to go.

This is why I love being a realtor. Helping friends do something amazing for themselves and making sure all goes smoothly. After some challenging transactions over the past several months, working with Darkina on this was my absolute pleasure.

WOOHOO!! SO excited that my former buyer, now seller, clients were able to go under contract on this amazing ranch home in a challenging market. With the proper preparation, staging, pricing, and marketing, we had significant traffic come through the doors to see it in person so they could truly appreciate everything this home had to offer. Buyers that saw this home the first weekend just kept circling back to it. Once they saw the demand heating up, they made their move and my sellers accepted!

We got a lot accomplished today taking supplies to a drop.point for western NC relief! With the help of donations from KW Elite agents, friends and family, and even my college roommate from California Jack, Delaney and I drove out and met some incredible volunteers who graciously unloaded the full trailer into organized boxes to be sent to the most needy areas.

While we were out there, we stopped by the Catawba County Animal Shelter to pick up 11 week old brothers Tobias, Travis, and Trevor for Peak Lab Rescue (www.peaklabrescue.com). Long but satisfying day.

The people in western NC will be needing help for a while so keep them in your thoughts and consider donating time or money or both.

Triangle area NC friends! We are collecting items for donation to help our friends in western NC. Items can be dropped off at one of these offices or at my home in Apex. The Keller Williams office is sending a truck full of supplies and I will be personally driving my truck to western NC and will hopefully need to rent a trailer due to lots of donations!

The need for these items is indefinite at this time and help/domations will be needed for many months. Feel free to message me for my address if you'd like to drop off with me or have me come pick items up from you.

So proud to be part of such a great group of athletes and staff continuing to break down barriers and win the $1 million prize at the TST tournament in Cary! Last year they entered a team to play against the men and because of that, a women's tournament was born....Awesome!
