Early September I went to look at a house with a family room that only had a couch, tv and desk. The clients asked me to help them make it a room they wanted to relax in and work from. I spent 2 days shopping with the client and now my friend and together we found a rug, coffee table, mirror, pillows and accessories. I gave her tips and ideas to continue on her own. Since then the deliveries came and the homeowner continued to shop occasionally texting me pictures for advice. I think this family now has a space that is beautiful, cozy and inviting!

A few months ago this was an unfinished open space, now it is coming together to be an office space for about 20 people. Just some finishing touches left and coronavirus to go away so they can all go back to work in their new office.

I can visualize a pretty cool office space in here....can you? Zoom meetings and picking finishes online is new one for me but I am up for the challenge. Watch for progress pictures over the next few weeks and finish product by the summer.

So, some times when you have an idea for decorating your house you need to have patience and you might find the item when you least expect it. I have wanted and waited for the right holiday flannel plaid to go with my green walls and rustic timber frame home for years. Well, I found it on a recent trip to Sweden! I just had to go check out all the home stores there. It’s warm and comfy and will look great with my decorations of greens, white lights, berries and pine cones that are coming out soon.
