When people ask me why I chose real estate, I like to joke that I love helping people shop, and I love looking at houses! Obviously there’s a lot more to it than that, but it’s essentially true - I love helping people put together all the pieces of the puzzle to find the place they will call “home.” Buying or selling a home is a major event in anyone’s life, and I believe it should be enjoyable a
nd hassle-free - even, dare I say, fun! - and that is my ultimate goal for each of my clients. I’m a southern girl by birth (Surfside Beach, SC), but a traveler at heart - I graduated from New York University with a BFA in Theatre and spent 10 years living in New York City, performing on Broadway and on stages across the country. During my theatre years, I had the opportunity to visit and work in all 50 states (and Canada!), but when it came time to put down roots and start a family, my husband and I found the Triangle to be a perfect fit - enough culture for our artsy backgrounds, proximity to the beach and the mountains, sports for every interest, and the outdoor lifestyle we had missed while being city-dwellers. We relocated here on New Year's Eve 2001, and we can honestly say we love it here and can't imagine raising our two young daughters (and one crazy dog) anywhere else.
