When people ask me why I chose real estate, I like to joke that I love helping people shop, and I love looking at houses! Obviously there’s a lot more to it than that, but it’s essentially true - I love helping people put together all the pieces of the puzzle to find the place they will call “home.” Buying or selling a home is a major event in anyone’s life, and I believe it should be enjoyable and hassle-free - even, dare I say, fun! - and that is my ultimate goal for each of my clients. I’m a southern girl by birth (Surfside Beach, SC), but a traveler at heart - I graduated from New York University with a BFA in Theatre and spent 10 years living in New York City, performing on Broadway and on stages across the country. During my theatre years, I had the opportunity to visit and work in all 50 states (and Canada!), but when it came time to put down roots and start a family, my husband and I found the Triangle to be a perfect fit - enough culture for our artsy backgrounds, proximity to the beach and the mountains, sports for every interest, and the outdoor lifestyle we had missed while being city-dwellers. We relocated here on New Year's Eve 2001, and we can honestly say we love it here and can't imagine raising our two young daughters (and one crazy dog) anywhere else. Whether you’re moving in, moving out, or movin’ on up, I’d love to help sort through all the pieces of your real estate puzzle.
