Our Story

Steve was certified by the Building Performance Institute as a Building Analyst Professional in 2011 and has certified many Energy Star homes as a Home Energy Rater. He is also a level 1 Thermographer, a valuable skill for detecting unseen issues within a building.

Along with Home Inspections, Steve offers blower door and duct leakage testing as required by the International Energy Conservation Code.

In addition to inspecting the physical components of a home, Steve uses the principles of Building Science to assess the efficiency of a home, which is directly related to it’s durability, safety and comfort.
