I purchase character properties in France and in Italy and offer them as fractional ownership homes (shared ownership with 6-12 people). This provides a wonderful home base for people who love the idea of ownership with none of the year-round headaches and expenses of rentals and manageme

nt. My experience in searching for homes which stand out to me, is that they are not easy to find. It is a leap of faith which is sure to delight and enrich you. My job is to find the ideal property, handle the multiple requirements for foreign ownership, and provide you with a turn-key property to use and to enjoy. What is Fractional Ownership exactly? The concept is simple; it doesn’t always make sense to buy am entire holiday home you might use for a few weeks a year but by pooling resources with like minded owners, you can share the expenses and the lifestyle. IPS is run by me, Ginny Blackwell. I’ve loved travelling ever since I spent a year in Paris studying at the Sorbonne at age 20. Over the next ten years I managed to bike, hike or travel through Canada, Europe, Latin America and the beautiful USA. In 1981, I finished a Masters in International
Business from A.G.S.I.M. in Phoenix, Arizona. There are plenty of things I love about France, my first home away from home, but one of the main reasons is the manner of slow living. It’s more about the journey than the destination. I love May poppies, the 2CV Citroens and the way the French
language connects me deeply to its history and people. When I’m not at one of my holiday home shares in Europe or
Mexico, I live with Dale my husband and our three boys in a
historic house in New York, a bit of a change from our farm in Oregon! We loved the idea of walking places vs the minivan
circuit. We love having family in near by and the lovely Finger Lakes around us. We hope you enjoy discovering some amazing properties in France, Italy and beyond - and all the riches that the fractional lifestyle has to offer - to enjoy for yourselves and to share with others!

While waiting for my next trip to France (May 3!) I spend my time dreaming of France! I love researching new places, trying traditional recipes and soaking up everything I can about the culture.

This trip will focus on Nice and the granite coast of Brittany, with some impromptu detours, bien sûr! I can’t wait to share the adventure with you!

It’s not Holland … but Provence! Too early for lavender, the end of March and April bring multicolored fields of tulips! We sought out the famous gardens near Lurs -La Brillanne, and stumbled upon more in the Vaucluse!

It’s one is the little detours that remind me why I keep coming back to France - there is always something new to discover.

This tranquil oasis is located 5 minutes from the beach …. In Brittany! Explore vast sandy beaches and a myriad of enchanting islands. Nowhere else will you find ancient boulders as large as the houses sandwiched between them. La Belle Bretagne will surprise and delight! And the perfect home base is Le Manoir des Petites Bretonnes.

Your little “home” has its own name and personality! I am so tired of sterile rentals with no charm - here “la Grange de Blanche” has a cozy stone fireplace and “L’abri de Marie” had a selection of children’s books in a sunny loft being watched over by a large stuffed bunny.

Comfort and charm grace every room, and the large inviting garden, surrounded by voluptuous hydrangeas welcomes you with lounge chairs. Goats, chickens and rabbits will delight young and old!

But my favorite indulgence is the morning breakfast basket delivered every morning! Fresh patisseries, homemade jam and yogurt - absolute bliss!

A wonderful home base from which to explore western and southwestern France by car, train, and bicycle to Mont Saint-Michel, St. Malo, the Normandy beaches, the Bayeux Tapestry museum in Caen, west to the Celtic ruins of Brittany, the Fougères fortress, Belle Isle, to the Loire valley castles, the port of La Rochelle, Bordeaux and the Dordogne river valley.

Do you know this hidden gem in Provence? Gigondas has got it all: the village is a spiral of beautiful stone buildings, quaint cafés and plenty of picturesque spots to taste the world famous Gigondas wines. Wander just up the street to find terrasses vineyards perched precariously under the lacy Dentelles de Montmirail range. This is a place to relax, unwind and plan to spend some time - I recommend Les Florêts tucked right underneath the jagged cliffs of Montmirail. Pure bliss…
