Throughout my 50-year career in real estate, I’ve found there is no greater joy than helping individuals and families buy and sell homes in Duxbury and across the South Shore of Massachusetts—guiding them to a place they are proud to call home. Over the course of my real estate career which spans more than forty years, I’ve had the privilege of counseling buyers and sellers through the process of real estate transactions which has been a truly rewarding experience. While Duxbury Beach and Duxbury Bay are often what draw most people to Duxbury, it is our unique community and the people who live here that make it so special. As a lifelong Duxbury resident, it’s been important for me to give back and stay connected to those people through community outreach and volunteer work. Over the years, I’ve been actively involved with our local schools and the arts, as well as the Duxbury Business Association, having led this organization for 7 of the past 17 years. Get on the Water in Duxbury!

One of the best parts of summer in Duxbury? So many ways to enjoy the water. Whether you’re launching a boat, kayak or paddleboard - or just looking for a spot to swim - here are a few local favorites:
📍 Howland’s Landing
📍 Duxbury Town Pier
📍 Shipyard Lane
📍 Bluefish River Bridge
📍 Duxbury Beach / Powder Point

A few tips before you go: Check the tides! High tide is best for paddling and swimming at many of these locations.

Parking is free at many of the town access points, but spaces can be limited. At the base of the Powder Point Bridge, there’s a small free public parking lot that can fill up quickly. If you continue over the bridge to Duxbury Beach, a beach parking permit is required, or paid parking is available near Blakeman’s. Shipyard Lane is also permit parking only.
