You say “just a short drive,” and suddenly I’m on the road for 45 minutes with a podcast and a snack.

The wind? It’s not just blowing—it’s out here auditioning for a Marvel villain.

And growth? I blinked and somehow 3 new subdivisions appeared where my favorite hiking spot used to be.

Oh, and if you’re going to the grocery store on a Saturday—good luck. The whole city had the same idea.

Still, despite the wind, the drive, and the tumbleweeds chasing me on trails… the views are incredible, the sunsets are unmatched, and the community? One of a kind. 💛
